SiteWorx Software is pleased to announce enhancements for the SiteWorx® Application Suite.

New: Trigger Groups and Logic Controls

We added new ways to use occupancy data to control loads around a facility, such as HVAC systems, lights, and other relay devices.

Trigger Groups, a new term in SiteWorx, are a collection of Trigger Nodes – occupancy sensors, often
lights – that can be used to control the behavior of a relay device. A user can select trigger nodes in an Area to create a trigger group, which can then be used alone or in combination with other trigger groups
to actuate a relay device. Each Trigger Group has its own activation criteria, such that a certain number of nodes must detect occupancy (or vacancy) before the group will become triggered, or activated.

The activation of a trigger group signals that an area of a facility is either occupied (or not occupied) depending on the detection mode selected – occupancy or vacancy. Depending on the condition, this can trigger other system behavior, such as an HVAC zone changing state to save energy. Additionally, users can specify whether ‘All’ of the groups must be triggered before an action takes place, or if the action should be taken if ‘Any’ of the groups are triggered.

Trigger groups are created when configuring new Coordinated Controls in the Admin panel, or new Load Controls in Sense. In either case, a quick summary tab explains what will happen based on the configured settings. Existing Coordinated and Load Controls are not affected, and can be replaced with a new one to utilize the new Trigger Groups and logic features.

Enhancement: Sign Up Process

A heavily requested enhancement from resellers – Organization Name will now auto-fill during the new user sign up process, reducing friction for new non-SSO users.

Enhancement: Security Changes

New security features have been added across the platform after the completion of a recent external penetration test and security audit, as part of our ongoing commitment to cybersecurity.
